Re-Enrollment

 

Returning Parents be aware, you do not have to enroll through the My School DC Lottery unless you are applying for a new student.  

 

Key Dates:

April 2, 2021-May 3, 2021: Current students re-enrollment window.
May 3, 2021*: Deadline to Complete Re-enrollment.

 

Step 1: Online Enrollment Form– Deadline May 3rd*


Gather the following documents before accessing the matched student enrollment form link below. Please have a clear scanned picture of your government issued driver's license or non-driver's ID,  health/shot record, dental form and proof of DC Residency documents ready to upload. You will be able to use your computer, tablet, or smartphone to complete the form. If you need technical support, call us at 202-373-0035 and our Enrollment Specialist will provide support. Please complete your enrollment as soon as possible. 

 

If you do not have all of the requested documents at the time of completing your child(ren)'s enrollment, upload what you have and email the remaining documents to enrollment@ecapcs.org . You must include your child(ren)’s name(s) in the subject line of the email. 

 

We will review your documents and confirm if they meet all of the OSSE requirements and notify you by email if you need to submit different or additional proof of residency. Once approval has been met you will be sent an electronic DCRV and final acceptance paperwork to sign and complete your residency.

If you do not have access to technology or are running into issues we also offer in person registration by appointment call 202-373-0035 and an enrollment specialist will provide support. Our office hours are 8am-4pm, Monday- Friday. 
 

 

*ECA cannot guarantee extensions or seats after the deadline date of May 3, 2021. All steps MUST be completed for complete enrollment. All students immunization records MUST  be current. No Shots, No School. 

Only DC residents are eligible to enroll and receive a tuition-free education in the District of Columbia. Enrollment of the student in a DC Public School or public charter school must be conducted by an individual that has the authority to enroll the student and can prove DC residency. Individuals who have the authority to enroll the student are Parent, Guardian, Custodian, Adult student, or an Other Primary Caregiver (who must meet strict requirements to qualify).

To be a resident, the enrolling person must:

Be physically present in DC; and
Submit valid documentation of DC residency.

Valid documentation of DC Residency: The District of Columbia may use whatever legal means it has at its disposal to verify residency. Providing false information or documentation may result in the payment of retroactive tuition, withdrawal from school, and referral to the DC Office of the Attorney General for prosecution.
