School Year 2026–2027

 

Dear ECA Families,

 

Welcome to the Early Childhood Academy Public Charter School Before & After Care Program! We are excited to partner with you and your family for another wonderful school year. Our program is designed to provide a safe, caring, and engaging environment where students can continue learning, build friendships, and participate in enrichment activities.

 

Program Highlights

Students will enjoy a variety of activities each day, including:

  • Reading and story time
  • Arts and crafts
  • STEM and enrichment activities
  • Music and movement
  • Indoor and outdoor recreation
  • Social development activities
  • Homework assistance
 

A typical aftercare schedule includes snack time, homework support, enrichment activities, outdoor play, and center-based learning, although activities may vary.

 

Program Hours

Before Care

• 7:00 AM – 8:05 AM ( To ensure a smooth transition to the school day, students will not be admitted to the Before Care program after 7:50 a.m.)

 

After Care

• 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

 

The program follows the Early Childhood Academy school calendar and is closed on all school holidays and professional development days.

 

Registration & Attendance

Enrollment is completed through the online registration portal on the ECA website. Attendance is recorded daily.

 

Required Enrollment Documents

Enrollment in the Before & After Care Program is not considered complete, and students will not be permitted to attend the program until all required enrollment documents have been received and approved. The following documents must be submitted:

  • Travel Authorization Form
  • Emergency Treatment Authorization Form
  • Unexpired Health Assessment Form
  • Unexpired Oral Health (Dental) Assessment Form
  • Signed Parent Handbook Acknowledgment and Receipt
  • Medication Authorization Form

Students may begin attending the Before & After Care Program only after all required documentation has been submitted, registration has been approved, and all applicable program fees have been paid.

 

Authorized Pick-Up

For the safety of every child:

• Only individuals listed on your child's registration form may pick up your child.

• A valid photo ID may be requested.

• Any changes to dismissal or pick-up arrangements must be submitted in writing to the Aftercare Office before dismissal.

• Students must be checked in and out by a parent or authorized guardian using their assigned PIN in the EZChildTrack system.

 

Payments

Program fees are due before each new monthly service period begins.

Please note:

• A late payment fee applies after the first of the month.

• Late pick-up fees begin after 6:00 PM.

• Continued late payments or repeated late pick-ups may result in suspension from the program.

 

Costs and Payments

• Before Care Only - $ 60.00 per month and $20 for each additional sibling living

in the same household.

 

• Before and After Care - $160.00 per month and $20 for each additional sibling living in the same household.
