In 2025, Early Childhood Academy (ECA) proudly marks 20 years of nurturing young minds and shaping future leaders. Located in Southeast Washington, DC, ECA is a small public charter school serving students from Pre-K3 through 3rd grade. Rooted in the Washington Highlands community, ECA remains the last remaining prekindergarten through third grade public charter school in the area offering a program uniquely designed to meet the needs of young children.
Each classroom is led by a highly qualified teacher and associate teacher, delivering personalized instruction aligned with the Common Core State Standards and Early Learning Standards. Our full-day, ten-month program equips students with the academic, social, and emotional foundation they need for lifelong success.
