Celebrating 20 Years of Growing Learners:
Early Childhood Academy’s 20th Anniversary Campaign
In 2025, Early Childhood Academy (ECA) proudly marks 20 years of nurturing young minds and shaping future leaders. Located in Southeast Washington, DC, ECA is a small public charter school serving students from Pre-K3 through 3rd grade. Rooted in the Washington Highlands community, ECA remains the last remaining public school in the area offering a program uniquely designed to meet the needs of young children.
Each classroom is led by a highly qualified teacher and associate teacher, delivering personalized instruction aligned with the Common Core State Standards and Early Learning Standards. Our full-day, ten-month program equips students with the academic, social, and emotional foundation they need for lifelong success.
We are proud to celebrate two decades of impact, including:
- Recognition as a Tier 1 school by the DC Public Charter School Board
- Opening a state-of-the-art 38,000-square-foot facility designed for early learners
- Welcoming back former students who now serve as dedicated staff members
As we celebrate 20 years of impact, we’re also investing in the next generation of learners. This year’s campaign will support essential classroom technology upgrades that enrich learning and expand opportunities for every student.
