Don't Wait Vaccinate!

District law and regulation requires all schools in the District of Columbia are in compliance with the immunization requirements as part of enrollment and attendance. All students must be up to date on their immunizations before next school year. Immunizations and regular visits to the physician help protect a student's health and readiness to learn. Schools play an important role in keeping students safe, healthy, and ready to learn. Similar to COVID-19, many infectious diseases, such as measles, are highly contagious and dangerous for our youngest District residents. In order to prevent the spread of these infectious diseases, it is vital that all students are fully immunized before entering school. Immunizations are the best defense against some of the most common infectious diseases.

School begins on August 31,2020. If you are unsure whether Early Childhood Academy has a current copy of your child’s Universal Health Certificate, contact the main office at 202-373-0035.  Updated forms can be submitted in person or via email to enrollment@ecapcs.org.
