Instructional Focus
Our Program Includes:

Reading, Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, and Science for ALL students using the Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Curriculum (K-3) and Apple Tree's, Every Child Ready Curriculum (Prekindergarten).

General Music and Art for ALL students taught by ECA's renowned musician and professional violinist

Instrumental Music, including instruction in violin, viola, cello

Integrated Technology using smart boards, swivels, iPads for each prekindergarten 3 and prekindergarten 4 student, and Chromebooks for each kindergarten through third grade student.
Field trips to the Smithsonian museums, art museums, the Newseum, local farms, the Kennedy Center, the Publick Playhouse, the Baltimore Science Center, the Baltimore Aquarium, Washington landmarks, and many other sites of interest are a regular part of our monthly program and connect learning to real-world experiences.
Physical education classes are provided weekly to support students' health and physical fitness. We work hard to support the growth and development of our fantastic students, but we always remember to infuse a little fun and laughter in the learning!
