ECA Has Made AYP in Rdg & Math on the 2011 State Test!

W ELCOME TO OUR SCHOOL!

Welcome to Early Childhood Academy Public Charter School! We are so excited about the many challenging educational programs that we are able to provide our students. Through our data-driven instruction, ECA's emphasis is on high quality teaching and learning for all students in all grades. Language and literacy is at the forefront of ECA's instructional program, but we embrace the opportunity to provide our students with an educational experience that also exposes them to math and science, the arts, and the diverse resources of the metropolitan area.

Field trips to the Smithsonian museums, art museums, the Newseum, local farms, the Kennedy Center, the Publick Playhouse, the Baltimore Science Center, the Baltimore Aquarium, Washington landmarks, and many, many other sites of interest are a regular part of our monthly program. Music appreciation, violin, viola, cello, and other instruments are taught by ECA's music teacher, a renowned musician. Physical education classes are provided weekly to encourage our children's understanding of team sports and healthy lifestyles. All students also enjoy Spanish classes, which are implemented weekly. We work hard to support the growth and development of our fantastic students, but we always remember to infuse a little fun and laughter in the learning! We love our students and our school. Visit us and find out why!
